NEW WOODFIRED DINING EXPERIENCE AT LAINSTON HOUSE

Celebrating the former life of this listed outbuilding, which is also home to Season cookery school, The Wellhouse is bringing a whole new woodfired eating experience to Lainston House, Hampshire and the south of England. One of the UK’s very few restaurants to have all dishes cooked by woodfire, The Wellhouse is an exciting new restaurant offering unique food, drink and social experience, celebrating the simplicity of woodfired ovens and smokers. Sat inside the historic rustic-luxe surroundings, you’ll be able to see, smell and taste the delights of woodfired cooking and for those special occasions, you can enjoy private dining in the idyllic outside setting of the vast kitchen garden.

With Phil Yeomans at the helm, The Wellhouse will take inspiration from the hotel’s impressive kitchen garden as well as the exceptional and artisanal produce found in the county including meat, fish, dairy, wines and spirits, notably from River Test Chalkstream. Combining kitchen innovation, tradition with a twist, with fun, casual and personalised hospitality, The Wellhouse welcomes hotel guests and the local community to experience an authentic, immersive eating and drinking experience, where the simplicity of woodfired cooking and home grown produce come together with the very best of local field, farm and forest.

The Wellhouse Gift Card fine print

Please bring your paper or e-voucher to pay for your experience and give it to us on arrival. We need its unique reference code. Bookings must be made in advance and are subject to availability. Please don’t try to book on bank holidays and seasonal events as these are excluded. All bookings require 48 hours’ notice to cancel. If cancelling within this time the full charge will be made by redeeming the voucher. The voucher can only be used once and cannot be exchanged for cash or replaced if lost. The whole value of the voucher must be used at one time; any outstanding value cannot be retained for another visit. Please seek our permission before using one of our vouchers for promotional or commercial use. We may need to change our T&Cs on occasion and will do as we need to.
